meet charlie

Classical Five Element Acupuncture is an ancient practice treating the Body, Mind and Spirit to bring balance to health and wellbeing. Treatment is individual to each patient; it works holistically, aiming to restore the body’s inherent ability to heal. Symptoms are addressed at the root, making it effective for a wide range of conditions.

Charlie came to Five Element Acupuncture first as a patient. Having worked in brand communications for nearly a decade, she experienced a range of health issues related to anxiety and burn out. Acupuncture treatment had a huge impact on her wellbeing and, seeking a new career path, she began to explore the practice.

Charlie completed a professional licentiate in acupuncture in 2022 at The Acupuncture Academy in Leamington Spa. An honours degree level course which is fully accredited by the British Acupuncture Accreditation Board, her training covered traditional acupuncture theory, clinical skills and conventional medical sciences. She has been treating since February 2022, specialising in treating mental health conditions, pain and chronic illness. 

She is a member of the British Acupuncture Council and adheres to the Council’s Codes of Safe Practice and Professional Conduct. Charlie has also completed training in mental health first aid and undergone trauma-informed coaching.
